PCI USA Level 1 Certification

The PCI Level 1 Certification gives you a complete introduction to teaching pickleball with clarity and confidence. This fully online program guides you through technique, tactics, lesson planning, and coaching fundamentals. You’ll learn through high-impact video tutorials, training activities, and case studies designed to strengthen your on-court instruction.

Requirement:
A valid USA Pickleball member number is required to sign up. If you are not a member, please register at usapickleball.org before purchasing.

What you’ll learn:

• Technique: Serves, volleys, smashes, groundstrokes, and more
• Tactics: How to clearly teach core concepts and progressions
• Lesson Planning: Group management, safety, and session design

Your steps to certification:

• Complete the online course (approx. 15 hours)
• Pass the knowledge quiz (85 percent required)
• Submit your three-part video evaluation (Demonstration, Playing, and Teaching skills)
• Receive detailed results and feedback from PCI evaluators
