Apply for your Insurance coverage

If you coach pickleball then you know how important it is to have insurance. Knowing that you are protected when your are instructing offers incredible peace of mind. Be aware that many venues require instructors to have insurance before you rent courts from them. Insurance: the product you buy and hope you never need to use.

We’re working hard to automate the sign up process now.

If you’re based in the USA you’ll need to sign the Release of Liability Waiver. Canadians can find theirs HERE.

Then, depending on where you are based there are different forms we require to process your background screening, required for the policy.

All US states will require a signed Disclosure: HERE.

The majority of US states will then also require THIS Authorization form. Unless, you live in the following; New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, Oregon, Vermont or California.

American PCI members, there are a total of 3 documents that need to be signed in order for us to start the process.

Canadian members need to sign the Liability Waiver only unless they are working with vulnerable participants (Children are defined as being anyone under the age of 18. Vulnerable persons are people who, because of their age, disability or other circumstance, are more vulnerable than others). Our insurance provider is unable to provide coverage for any operation when a vulnerable sector check is not completed for individuals that are coaching and or supervising vulnerable people. If you could be instructing anyone under the age of 18 or someone considered vulnerable due to their disability or circumstance you must provide Pickleball Coaching International with a copy of your Vulnerable Sector Screening. This is available from your local police station.
